What John Clay says: He’s 6-foot-6, and you just can’t teach that. Not a burner, as most list King as having around 4.6 speed. But he was the No. 7 prospect in the state, according to Rivals. Could turn into a bad matchup for smaller defensive backs.

What Rich Brooks says: “LaRod gives us a very tall and physical receiver. He was a high school quarterback at North Hardin, which is the high school that Andre' Woodson came from. We really feel like LaRod is a physical presence at the wide receiver position. He is also an outstanding basketball player and has great ball skills.”
